Join cyclists worldwide in a silent slow-paced ride (max.12 mph/20kph) in honor of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways.
In 2024 we ride in Memory of three local people that died since our last ride of Silence:
- Arron Jones died at the intersection of Rt 18 and St. Francis Way in Cranberry Township on November 22, 2023. His obituary is HERE. An article on the collision is HERE.
- Dave Bialosky, our long time club member, was struck by a truck while riding Bon Ton Roulet in Penn Yan New York in July 2023. His obituary is here: https://obituaries.post-gazette.com/obituary/david-harris-bialosky-1088704352
- James Mills died at the intersection of Liberty and Stanwix Streets in Pittsburgh earlier this month. He is remembered by those who knew him in the Facebook post HERE.

- We ride rain or shine. We cancel only if there is a dangerous weather event.
- If 2nd Ave is closed due to the recent water main break, please just park elsewhere near the trail, and ride the trail to the start.
