Ride the Redbank Creek Trail from from East Brady to Brookville. Have lunch in Brookville, nominally at the Courthouse Grill & Pub at 209 Main St. (Oops it is closed.  We will find somewhere else).  Then ride back. We are starting an hour later this year so we have a better chance of ordering from the lunch menu. Also stops at the convenience store in New Bethlehem there and back. So each leg is about 24 miles. Starting 1 hour later this year so we hit the restaurant for lunch. If you would rather have a 49 mile ride, then ride from East Brady to New Bethlehem. In addition to the convenience store there are several restaurants, including Zack’s Local Farm To Table Restaurant, which opens at 11 AM on Saturdays. Note that the stretch from East Brady to New Bethlehem is remote enough that it doesn’t have good cell phone coverage. There are two tunnels so you need a headlight.

The Redbank Trail is solid enough that road tires generally work well. EXCEPT that there is about 1 mile of large gravel on the approach/return on the Armstrong trail that will make you feel superior if you have gravel tires.
