15th Wheeling Heritage Trail Bicycle Tour

Not a club event. Be sure to sign up on event website. President Jim is planning to ride the 100 km.
The Ohio Valley Trail Partners present the 15th Wheeling Heritage Trail Bicycle Tour on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30 at Heritage Port in Wheeling—1201 Water Street, Wheeling, WV 26003.
Registration will begin at 7 am. Please preregister at ohiovalleytrailpartners.com
Free tees to those who preregister!
8 am mass start-100km group
8:45 am mass start-30 mile group
9 am mass start- 10 mile group
Road guards will be posted at critical intersections.
The 100km (62 miles) ride will leave the trail for a hilly loop through Bethany with a stop at Bethany College. It is a challenging ride with great SAG support.
Lunch will be served between 11:30 am and 2 pm at Heritage Port and there will be entertainment from 11:30 – 1 pm.
Snack/water stops will keep riders hydrated: 3 on the 100km ride and 2 on the 30-mile ride. The 30 mile turn around is the rest stop at Brooke County.
Every participant is required to wear a helmet. Entrants under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. We ride rain or shine!
