SUMMARY:Fall Membership Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Our annual Fall Picnic in Cecil Township Park. Shelter 1.   This year we have invited Women@Work  Bicycling Club to have a joint membership picnic with us.  Also\, our ride this year is in memory or Dave Bialosky\, our long-time membership chair.  Dave’s obituary is here:  https://obituaries.post-gazette.com/obituary/david-harris-bialosky-1088704352 \nJim Logan will lead the 25 mile as a no-drop ride.  The 25 mile routes name is “As Easy as It Gets in Cecil”. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/40653133 \nAlso\, the trail is adjacent to the Montour Trail if you want to ride on the trail. Robin  Woods will lead a ride on the Montour Trail. \nFor the 25 mile ride\, please check in between 8:30 AM and 9:20 AM.  We roll out at 9:30 AM \nYou want to be back for lunch at noon if you are riding on your own or on a different route. \nDo check-in before riding so we have lunch for you when you come back. \nFor both clubs\, this is a membership picnic. SUMMARY:Wheeling Heritage Bike Tour - 100 km\, 50 km\, 15 km
DESCRIPTION:The Ohio Valley Trail Partners present the 16th tour of the Wheeling Heritage Trail on Sunday\, May 28th at Heritage Port in Wheeling—1201 Water Street. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. The tour will begin at 7:30am with the start of the 100km riders. Those riding 30 miles (50km) will begin at 8am. Road guards will be posted at critical intersections. The 10 mile (15km) ride begins at 9 am and heads South on the trail from Heritage Port. \nThe 100km (62 miles) ride will leave the trail for a hilly loop towards Bethany with a stop at Bethany College. It is a challenging ride with great SAG support. \nSnack/water stops will keep riders hydrated: 3 on the 100km ride and 2 on the 30-mile ride. Every participant is required to wear a helmet. SUMMARY:Spring Kickoff - Panhandle Ride
DESCRIPTION:Meet at the McDonald station trailhead. Ride west on the Panhandle Trail\, perhaps breaking into groups. The RideWithGPS route turns around at the Hanlin trailhead. If you want to turn around at the end of the pavement\, go all the way to the end in WV\, or turn-around sooner that is dandy too. In Burgettstown\, stop at the Walden’s @ 1709 Main Family Restaurant.

SUMMARY:Cecil Weekly - New 5:30pm Start
DESCRIPTION:NOTE NEW START TIME OF 5:30PM. \nPACE & DISTANCE: medium paced (C+/B) ride of 13 to 16 miles per hour with regroupings every 20 to 30 minutes. Even though this is a no drop ride\, you are expected to be able to keep up with the pace of the ride group and complete the route provided before sunset. If you feel unable to participate in this ride due to these restrictions and would like to do a shorter and/or slower ride\, email me (mo*****@***oo.com) and we can set up a ride event with those characteristics. \nROUTE UPDATED AS OF 4:15PM AUG 9: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/40524565 \nCANCELLATION INFO: The ride is canceled or postponed due to weather no later than one hour before the start time.
