- Team Decaf rides 2 routes each Tuesday night out of Highland Park. You can find them on the Bike PGH ride calendar HERE. Their next 100 km is on Saturday May 24.
- The Cecil Group is starting their season Tuesday evening May 13. To get on their message group contact Kris Moser’s note below.
- The Pittsburgh Randonneurs are riding. Today (Saturday 5/10) they are out riding the Meanville Greenville 200 km, with splendid weather (once it warms up). Find their events HERE.

Kris Moser Invites: “If you’re looking for a place to start your road cycling experience with WPABC, the Cecil weekly Tuesday night rides are for you. We will be starting these rides [Tuesday May 12] (weather permitting) and we always start the rides out for the season with very easy routes and progressively get more challenging as the riding season progresses. WPABC comments: “There be hills in Cecil! Also, if you are unsure of your abilities, the start of the riding season is the right time to join a ride group. Don’t wait until June when the group has been riding together for 3 months and have ridden themselves into shape!
Pittsburgh’s Ride of Silence Wednesday May 21
Robin Woods is coordinating Pittsburgh’s Ride of Silence this year, working in close cooperation with Bike PGH. Thanks Robin. As always, WPABC rides in Memory of David Bialosky, a long time club member and volunteer killed by a truck while on vacation at Bon Ton Roulet in New York in 2023. The community Ride of Silence remembers the many cyclists killed in collisions with vehicles in or from our region.
Robin planned a route that visits several Ghost Bike locations.
